Today is the first Friday of March, which means that the vintage shops in Battle Ground, WA are holding their first Friday sales! On the first Friday of each month, A Vintage Gathering, Nest, Main Street Station, Rusty Glamour and Ma Belle’s stay open until 9 PM for lovers of all things recycled and vintage to shop.
There is a card you can get from the stores, and have it punched or marked when you stop by to visit. Then the shop that is the host for that month, gives away a gift certificate or some other wonderful thing that anyone stopping by would love.
I have a small space in A Vintage Gathering that I recently received. I have been selling some items in A Vintage Gathering on consignment since last spring, so I was so excited when Lori made some space available for me. I thought that I would take some time to show you around the shop so that you can see some of the wonderful items available……
Primrose and metal roosters!
How about some lovely cherries?
Just browse and see all of the wonderful goodies you can find!
You can also find some primitive items, lovely old quilts, yellow stoneware, kitchen utensils……….
I love this display of vintage yellow kitchen ware……
Local honey and candles.
There is some handmade jewelry, and coffee beans as well…..
The pillows, towels, spools of baker’s twine and a few miscellaneous glass items that I have in the shop…..
And I don’t want to forget to mention that A Vintage Gathering also carries CeCe Caldwell’s paints, as well as the wax and brushes you need. Classes are also available at the shop. Lori has years of experience painting and finishing furniture and working with vintage things and is always happy to give you tips to make your project easier for you.
So much to see, I couldn’t get it all in! Stop by any time that you are in the area and check out A Vintage Gathering!
